Aujourd’hui, le groupe de Folk Rock Médiéval Russe Teufelstanz a sorti un nouveau single, une reprise de « Johnny I hardly knew ya ».

Today, the Russian Medieval Folk Rock band Teufelstanz released a new single, which is a cover of “Johnny I hardly knew ya”.

 

Le single/cover est disponible sur Soundcloud en deux versions : l’une purement folk et l’autre est une adaptation en rock.

The single/cover is listenable on Soundcloud in two versions: one is purely folk and the other is a rock adaptation.  

 

Rendue célèbre grâce aux Dropkick Murphys,  « Johnny I hardly knew ya » est avant tout une chanson Irlandaise dénonçant les atrocités de la guerre.
