Skogsalver est un projet polonais de « cinematic dark folk ». Le premier single intitulé « Fimbulvintern » est sorti le 18 décembre 2020 et est issu de l’album Svarens Tid qui paraîtra prochainement. « Fimbulvintern » est un morceau traitant de l’hiver de trois ans précédant le Ragnarök et conte l’histoire de deux personnes, Lif et Lifthrasir, qui ont survécu à la fin du monde en se cachant dans les branches d’Yggdrasil.

Last Winter Solstice brought the first single from cinematic dark folk project Skogsalver took place. « Fimbulvintern” is about the three-year winter preceding Ragnarök, and two people – Lif and Lifthrasir – who survived the end of the world, sheltering in the branches of Yggdrasil.
