Wilderun vient d’annoncer sa signature avec le label Century Media Records !

Heavy metal band Wilderun has signed to Century Media Records, it was announced Thursday (April 16).

The first release under the deal will be Wilderun’s latest album Veil of Imagination, described as a cross between “exquisitely-composed orchestrations and savage metal.”

Formed in 2012 and based out of Boston, Wilderun plays variations on metal, prog, folk and orchestral music. The group – which consists of Evan Anderson Berry, Dan Müller, Jon Teachey, Joe Gettler and Wayne Ingram — has previously released two albums: 2012’s Olden Tales & Deathly Trails and 2015’s Sleep at the Edge of the Earth.

In a statement, Century Media vp of A&R Michael Gitter described Veil of Imagination as an album « that merges elements of extreme metal with a progressive poignancy and grandiose ambitions that only fully reveal themselves after many listens,” while Century Media director Philipp Schulte called it “progressive metal in its highest form” and “a statement for innovation and progression in a scene far too often ridden with stagnation and reactionary development.”
