Le groupe de brutal death symphonique italien Fleshgod Apocalypse sortira son cinquième album Veleno (« venin » en italien) le 24 mai 2019 via Nuclear Blast ! Un premier extrait intitulé « Sugar » vient d’être dévoilé.

Les parties « metal » ont été enregistrées à Rome au Bloom Recording Studio et au Kick Studio avec le collaborateur de longue date Marco Mastrobuono, tandis que les parties orchestrales ont été enregistrées au Musica Teclas Studio à Perugia. Le mixage et le mastering ont été réalisés par Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, EPICA) aux studios Hansen au Danemark. La pochette de l’album a été réalisée par Seempieces – The Art of Travis Smith (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, OPETH, KATATONIA).

 » Italian orchestral-death metal and renaissance revivalists FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE will make their triumphant return this year with the release of their 5th studio album, VELENO, on MAY 24TH with NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS. Today, the band has unveiled the record’s debut single, “SUGAR,” via a music video, the album artwork and tracklisting. […] The “metal part” of VELENO was recorded in Rome, Italy at Bloom Recording Studio and Kick Studio with long-standing collaborator Marco Mastrobuono, while the “orchestral part”—the ensembles—were tracked at Musica Teclas Studio in Perugia. Fleshgod Apocalypse then took the effort over to Grammy-nominated Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, EPICA) at Hansen Studios in Denmark for mixing and mastering. The entire production of VELENO took, according to Paoli, about three months. Artwork for the album was created by Seempieces – The Art of Travis Smith (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, OPETH, KATATONIA). «
